Louise Killick -Practice Development Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting.
Duties
- Accurately dispense medications and ensure that prescriptions are filled according to established protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and assist in inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies related to medication administration.
- Assist in training new staff members on dispensing procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively.
